Abstract

The principles and criteria for selecting the content of school literary education in the adaptive and basic subject cycle of general secondary education in the context of the requirements of the State Standard of Basic Secondary Education have been determined, emphasis is placed on the peculiarities of the study of literature in grades 5-9 in the lessons of Ukrainian literature and the integrated course of literature.
