Abstract
The article is devoted to the current topic of modern education, which is nowerdays in the process of reformation – the search for socio-psychological means of optimizing and increasing the effectiveness of the communication process between the subjects of educational interaction. The purpose of the article is to publicize the author's method of researching the communicativeness of the website of a school institution as one of the forms of mediated communication between subjects of educational interaction. To realize the goal, the following tasks were set: 1) to reveal the main positions of the author's methodology for assessing the level of communicativeness of websites of school institutions; 2) to present the results of the approbation of the methodology. The concept of "communicativeness of the website" was introduced, which is defined as the ability to ensure communication with the help of the website - to establish and maintain communication between the employees of the educational institution, families and the community about the topics of school life. Three components of the site's communicability are defined: 1) operational component - the functionality of the site (the degree of its convenience, content, accessibility, responsiveness, availability of feedback); 2) the emotional component – the attractiveness and modernity of the design, which affects emotions and perception, and 3) the cognitive component – the level of coverage of communication topics important for subjects of educational communication. The methodology was developed on the basis of 10 defined site evaluation criteria, which became the poles of graduated scales such as the semantic differential and 6 additional ones - which contain a meaningful content of the site's subject areas. With the help of the methodology, it was established that the emotional component is the weakest aspect of the communication of the websites of school institutions - they are often not perceived positively due to the non-modernity and insufficient attractiveness of the design. The test results showed that the developed methodology can be recommended for use in the assessment of mediated communicative processes of ensuring the quality of education in schools.
