Abstract
The topic "Readiness of Vocational Education Institution Leaders for Strategic Planning in the Context of Digital Transformation of Education" reflects the urgent need to adapt management approaches to new challenges arising from the digitalization of society and, in particular, the educational sector. In modern conditions, strategic planning becomes a key tool for ensuring the efficiency and competitiveness of vocational education institutions, as it provides a systematic approach to resource management, setting development priorities, and adapting to the rapidly changing external environment. Strategic planning enables not only the consideration of current trends, such as digitalization and the introduction of innovative technologies, but also the forecasting of future challenges, the development of effective mechanisms for overcoming them, and the sustainable development of educational institutions. This process involves forming clear objectives, identifying paths to achieve them, and evaluating results, which contributes to improving the quality of educational services and the rational use of financial, material, and human resources. In the context of digital transformation, strategic planning becomes even more significant, as the integration of digital technologies into management processes facilitates the automation of routine tasks, optimizes internal communications, and enhances transparency and the timeliness of decision-making. For leaders of vocational education institutions, strategic planning serves as a means of improving their managerial efficiency, particularly through the development of digital strategies, the formation of competitive advantages, and the creation of an innovative educational environment. This allows institutions not only to maintain their positions in the educational services market but also to respond to the challenges of modern society, fostering the training of qualified professionals capable of working in a digital economy. Special attention is given to assessing the readiness of leaders to make management decisions under digital changes, including the development of digital competencies, the implementation of innovative technologies, and the creation of long-term development strategies.
