Abstract

The collection includes the materials of the reports of the II All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Conference with international participation “Life Challenges of Modern Society in Wartime” (Kyiv, November 05-06, 2024). The following main issues were discussed at the scientific and practical conference: dominant negative influences and counteraction to them in the development of personality today; priority areas of personality research in modern society; aspects of psychological assistance to the individual during the war; self-development and self-realization of the individual in the process of modern life; basic principles, content and directions of post-traumatic growth of servicemen participating in hostilities; measures and practical recommendations to promote post-traumatic growth of servicemen. Recommendations for the implementation of the results of the II All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Conference with international participation are to raise awareness of scientists, teachers and graduate students about the consequences and prospects of personality formation in an uncertain world and the possibilities of practical use of the achievements of general psychology, personality psychology, history of psychology, etc. in modern conditions of education and science. The collection is addressed to psychologists, researchers and practitioners, teachers of higher education institutions, educators, doctoral students, postgraduate students and students.
