Abstract

Updating the content of the subject “Informatics” in general education institutions is associated with changes in the strategic directions of education - orientation towards an activity-based approach and the formation of important life competencies in students. The content of the subject “Informatics” in primary school for children with visual impairments is a presentation of the basics of information and communication technologies, adapted to the capabilities and peculiarities of perception in primary school children with visual impairments, familiarizing students with information and communication technologies and forming key competencies in children for the realization of their creative potential and socialization in society.
