Abstract
The methodological recommendations are devoted to the problem of minimizing the negative consequences of psychological traumatization of students who have experienced / are experiencing traumatic events caused by war. Nowadays, it is extremely important to optimize psychological assistance in all its forms for different categories of children. The paper considers the features of traumatic events in a war situation and the impact of war on children; presents information about post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) as one of the dangerous consequences of war; describes the specifics of providing psychological assistance in secondary education institutions under martial law; emphasizes the importance of socio-psychological support. It is emphasized that in martial law, when providing psychological assistance, its supporting, educational and accompanying functions become key. The materials contained in the methodological recommendations are aimed at increasing the level of psychological competence of all those who work with children. They can be used by psychologists, pedagogical and social workers, students of advanced training courses in the field of education, teachers of postgraduate pedagogical education institutes, methodologists, students, and scientists.
