Abstract

It is proved that in order to develop the digital citizenship of young people in the vocational education system, it is necessary to: introduce an educational component that includes digital citizenship in various subjects; provide continuous professional development for teachers on the effective development of digital citizenship of students; strengthen practical training based on project-based learning, which requires students to research and address issues such as cybersecurity, online privacy or digital marketing ethics; ensuring effective assessment of digital citizenship through digital portfolio, peer assessment, reflective essay, etc.
