Abstract

The collective monograph prepared by scientists of the of Organizational and Social Psychology Laboratory at the Institute of Psychology named after G.S. Kostyuk of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, reveals the results of theoretical and empirical studies of the psychological mechanisms of economic socialization of a personality in the period from early adolescence to early adulthood. Based on the achievements of domestic and foreign science in the field of psychology, philosophy, cultural studies, pedagogy, the authors have developed a structural and target model of psychological mechanisms of economic socialization of the individual, which can be used in the practice of economic education of youth. The application of these developments will allow to prevent the action of natural factors and promote the purposeful formation of economic culture in youth, which will ensure its harmonious integration into modern market relations. The monograph is addressed to psychology teachers of higher education institutions, doctoral candidates, postgraduate students, students, workers in the field of practical psychology, psychologists, other specialists who conduct scientific research in the field of social psychology, psychology of personality socialization, develop problems of the economic culture of the personality, its formation in ontogenesis in various socio-economic conditions.
