Abstract

The article examines the problem of creative thinking of younger schoolchildren in modern conditions of education. The goal of primary education is determined according to the Concept of the New Ukrainian School. The characteristics of the psychological characteristics of younger schoolchildren are revealed. The factors that influence the development and formation of students' creative thinking are highlighted. The conditions for the creative development and self-realization of schoolchildren, the formation of their need and ability for self-education are characterized.
