Abstract

The problem of forming the content of integrated literary education is actualized. The main principles of selecting the content of programs on Ukrainian literature, developed by N. Voloshyna, are considered and generalized. It is proved that the scientific and methodological developments of N. Voloshyna have become the basis of the modern model of school literary education. In the conditions of reforming the educational system in Ukraine, the principles of directing the content and applying modern methods in teaching Ukrainian literature, and an integrated course of literature (Ukrainian and foreign) are of particular importance.
