Abstract

During adjustment and wartime conflicts, the child may show increased self-centeredness in his thinking and behavior. This process can be influenced by such factors as: stress and instability, change of environment, constant fear, loss of control, social isolation. Forced or conscious, parents fill this void with content in virtual space. Over time, virtual reality begins to obscure, or even replace, the real world. Against this background, spatial perception is disturbed, the number of sensory stimuli decreases, perception is limited mainly to visual perception, and the child's motor activity decreases. Excessive immersion of a child in virtual space has the most pronounced negative effect on its social qualities: friendliness, openness, desire to communicate, compassion, the ability to understand another and take his point of view, i.e. increasing egocentrism.
