Abstract

For the past two years, Ukraine has been involved in a full-scale war. Military operations, occupation, as well as constant media coverage of these events constantly affect children and their families. However, the impact on girls and boys is usually different. Psychologists, teachers and parents should be informed about the psychological consequences and differences in the reactions of boys and girls caused by military actions. Unfortunately, there is little clinical and scientific research data on this topic. Modern pedagogical and psychological science and practice almost does not consider gender as the most important characteristic of a child. Teachers and psychologists have a differentiated approach to boys and girls when working with traumatized children.
