Abstract

Over the past decade, the development of the Internet and computing devices has been gaining momentum. Things that were impossible back then are now possible, and soon the whole world will be swallowed up by computing systems. The modern educational environment adapts new technologies to achieve the main goals of education. In particular, it is necessary to determine the impact of cloud technologies and the services they generate, which, among other things, affect the development of modern pedagogy in general. This review provides a comprehensive analysis of the current state of cloud technologies and services in education. Each source considered in this review is publicly available and published on the basis of the principles established by the relevant scientific publishers. Thus, the purpose of the review is primarily to provide information and analytical support to education in the study of the impact of cloud technologies on the digital transformation of education and pedagogy. Attention is focused on key aspects such as changes in educational approaches, development of creativity and critical thinking, increasing accessibility of education, and analysis and use of data related to the introduction of cloud technologies in the modern educational system. The materials of the analytical review will contribute to the implementation of the Concept of Digital Transformation of Education and Science for the period up to 2026 and the Concept of Digital Competence Development, as well as to solving the tasks of the applied research ‘Information and Analytical Support for the Digital Transformation of Education and Pedagogy: Domestic and Foreign Experience’ (2023-2025).
