Abstract

The article highlights the advantages of formative assessment as an innovative approach to assessment in computer science lessons in secondary education. The works of domestic and foreign teachers and scientists, as well as advanced pedagogical experience, are analyzed. The methods, forms, and techniques of formative assessment in computer science lessons are highlighted, the use of which will help teachers improve the quality of education in modern conditions.
