Abstract
In the context of increasing demands on the professional activities of educators within general secondary education institutions, the significance of using electronic assessment systems has become paramount. These systems enable the application of objective, reliable, and transparent assessment methods, enhancing both the effectiveness and convenience of the process. Contemporary approaches to evaluating teachers' professional activities are largely grounded in a competency-based approach, considering a broad spectrum of competencies including knowledge, skills, and educator qualities. Electronic assessment systems facilitate monitoring various professional aspects, providing a deeper, comprehensive understanding of effectiveness. Through the integration of diverse data sources and analytical methods, including assessments from various sources and feedback from students and colleagues, these systems offer a fuller picture of educators' performances, guiding further professional development. Increasingly popular in general secondary education, electronic assessment systems not only allow for a more accurate measurement of student achievements but also reflect the quality of teachers' professional activities. The theoretical models and approaches to electronic assessment demonstrate the potential of these systems to enhance educators' qualifications and improve the quality of the educational process, promoting continuous professional development and innovation.
