Abstract

The article highlights the psychological problems of children with various experiences of war, reveals the psychological features of their perception of the world around them. Age differences in the child's reaction to stress are noted. It was found that during adaptation and military conflicts, children more often demonstrate increased egocentrism in their thinking and behavior. This process is influenced by such factors as stress, instability, change of environment, constant fear, loss of control, social isolation, constant stay in virtual space. The negative psychological consequences caused by insufficient socialization of children of primary school age are described: emotional and intellectual development, development of speech and emotional intelligence are inhibited; the child's role repertoire narrows; the spectrum of her behavioral reactions decreases; the development of communication skills slows down; the skills of establishing positive relationships and constructive resolution of conflict situations are not formed; the assimilation of norms and rules of behavior slows down; the probability of fixing negative behavioral reactions increases; the development of self-control skills, etc. slows down. It was emphasized that one of the key tasks of supporting Ukrainian students is maintaining a connection with the Ukrainian education system, providing the opportunity to continue studying according to the Ukrainian curriculum, Ukrainian textbooks. It has been established that providing psychological support to children, namely involvement in group activities, providing the opportunity to express their thoughts and feelings, information about what is happening, explaining the importance of compassion and helping other people, helps prevent the occurrence of negative consequences of experienced stress.
