Abstract
Introduction. The semantic content of the crisis discourse is investigated. This is relevant in the context of studying the possibilities of influencing the perception and interpretation of narrative texts by recipients. Purpose. The purpose of this work is to identify and study the senses and meanings that become relevant for the individual and are acutely experienced in the modern crisis situation. The object of research is the crisis discourse. The analysis was carried out on the materials of social networks, media and surveys. Personal experiences of the realities of the modern crisis situation, generated by the war of the Russian Federation against our country, were studied. Methods. Theoretical methods (analysis, comparison and systematization) as well as empirical ones (survey) were used. Originality. The semantic analysis of the crisis discourse made it possible to identify a set of diverse crisis meanings, previously systematized. The line of negative meanings reflects the meanings of the traumatic plan (shock, confusion, helplessness, fatality, hopelessness, separation, guilt, anxiety, unpredictability of the future, loss of stability, need for security, fear, hate, anger, revenge, despair, loss, etc.), which need to be worked out in each specific affected person. Powerful "resource" line combined the meanings that people relied on when they are in crisis - such as empathy, the desire for cohesion, unification, the desire to share someone's pain and share your own, mutual support, the feeling that life - self-goal, striving for transcendence, expansion of consciousness, self-sufficiency, preservation of values (love, beauty, goodness, truth, honesty, etc.), conscious focus on the development of resilience, active search for a constructive way out of the feeling of anxiety, etc. The survey revealed numerous creative findings, named by the recipients, regarding constructive ways to overcome the negative experiences associated with the crisis situation. Understanding the obtained results allows us to conclude that difficult circumstances, problematic situations can play the role of a factor for the maturation of the individual. But this is possible in the case that a person has certain life skills that also are discussed in the paper. Conclusion. The research made it possible to draw a general conclusion: to successfully confront crisis circumstances, a person must purposefully strive to understand the crisis situation, delving into its semantic content, differentiating the meanings that make up the problem, and working out each of them. Understanding one's own crisis situation, identifying, realizing and accepting the meanings of which it consists, organizing the relevant meanings into a convincing narrative for oneself is an important semantic task, the solution of which will help to overcome anxiety.
