Abstract

The article emphasizes the importance and relevance of modernizing educational approaches in the context of rapid changes, such as the digitalization of education and crises like the war in Ukraine. Innovative technologies, such as virtual laboratories, play a crucial role in developing students' scientific competencies. The aim of the study is to compare traditional and modern teaching methods to assess their impact on the effectiveness of the learning process. To achieve this, the research employed methods such as surveys, questionnaires, experimental lessons, and content analysis of scientific literature. A comparison of traditional and innovative methods showed that traditional methods, such as textbooks and lectures, provide structured knowledge acquisition and foster academic discipline. They also promote the development of fundamental skills through repetitive tasks and direct teacher-student interaction. In contrast, innovative methods, such as virtual laboratories and multimedia resources, offer greater interactivity, engagement, and flexibility in learning. They help develop critical thinking, adaptability, and problem-solving skills by allowing students to conduct experiments in safe conditions. Innovative methods better adapt the educational process to individual student needs through interactive and adaptive platforms. The study results indicate that combining these approaches creates an effective and flexible learning environment that addresses students' individual needs. The data have been systematized to highlight the benefits of innovative teaching tools, which include flexibility, adaptability, and the ability to individualize the learning process. The theoretical significance of the study lies in its potential to develop new educational programs that integrate innovative technologies to improve the quality of education. The practical value of the work is in the recommendations developed for educators to optimize the learning process by combining traditional and modern methods. The originality of the study lies in the innovative approach to integrating modern technologies into traditional teaching methods, improving the learning process and increasing its flexibility and adaptability. Further research may focus on the impact of individualized learning paths and the long-term effects of using virtual technologies to enhance the quality of the educational process. The article is theoretical, focusing on studying and proposing ways to integrate innovative technologies into the modern education system.
