Abstract
It is proposed to consider fake news as biased, unverified messages disseminated through mass communication channels. The degree of verification and objectivity of information can be determined by the number of independent sources confirming it. The bias in fake news lies in its reliance on the views, prejudices, and interpretations of individuals who spread it, rather than on comprehensive, multifaceted substantiation with facts and evidence.
