Abstract

The article is devoted to the analysis of conceptual approaches to the development of media education in English-speaking countries. The author analyzes the problems of the development of basic theoretical media educational concepts. The features of the theory of critical thinking are determined, examples of the integration of media education in school academic disciplines are given. 18 key principles of media education were noted.
