Abstract

The article shows a brief history of the development of mankind in terms of the production of goods and the place of digitization in it. It is shown how the Internet simplifies production processes and how much the economy needs specialists with completely new knowledge that did not exist before. New knowledge and technologies form a new culture, which is discussed in the article. Positive and negative aspects of digitization are shown. Some individuals and companies are not ready for very fast changes, so it is told how the experience of advanced countries will help to overcome the challenges facing the digitalization of the economy.
