Abstract

The classification of digital technologies is an important tool for systematising and understanding various innovations in the modern world. The classification helps to organise and structure a large amount of information about various digital technologies, which facilitates their understanding and use in the training of future skilled workers in the engineering industry. it is advisable to use the classification of digital technologies for the training of future skilled workers in the engineering industry in five areas: computer simulation and modelling, virtual and augmented reality, digital interactive learning platforms, Internet of things, artificial intelligence.
