Abstract

In today’s realities in Ukraine, psychological support of participants in the educational process is extremely important. For its implementation, it is necessary to conduct trainings, develop self-support skills, and advise the participants of the educational process. The purpose of the article was to analyze the effectiveness of online consultations in supporting the mental health of students. In the course of the study, it was found that mental health is a state of well-being, when a person is aware of his capabilities, is able to cope with everyday difficulties, work effectively and bring benefit to society. Educational institutions play a key role in identifying and solving psychological problems caused by the war. In the conditions of a full-scale invasion in Ukraine, distance learning has become an important alternative that supports a sense of continuity of the educational process and helps students to switch their attention to educational tasks. Online learning involves various methods of psychological support: individual consultations, group classes, interactive exercises and online resources. Virtual platforms, online courses on psychological health and intelligent systems for individualization of learning are becoming important tools in working with students. The most popular online resources in the Ukrainian Internet space, which can significantly facilitate the educational process and contribute to the maintenance of the mental health of young people, are considered. Group sessions via video link or online platforms to jointly solve psychological issues and share experiences can be organized by a psychologist who works in the relevant educational institution. Thanks to online consultations, students have access to qualified psychological help at any convenient time, regardless of their location. This is especially important in the conditions of martial law, where traditional face-to-face consultations are impossible. In general, online consultations provide access to psychological support, which is critically important in times of stressful situations. Video platforms, chats and forums allow seekers to receive real-time help to help them deal with anxiety, stress and personal problems.
