Abstract
The author emphasizes the need to apply metacognitive strategies of teaching and learning using digital learning tools, self-regulated learning, which prompts the teacher to play the role of a facilitator. It is about changing the emphasis from planning classes and teaching educational material to organizing the educational process, promoting and helping in the acquisition of new knowledge and skills, that is, creating a comfortable atmosphere in the group and facilitating communication and interaction of participants in the educational process, which is noted for the transformation of higher education.
