Abstract
Overcoming the total educational crisis, which has not bypassed any country, can be seen in the globalization of modern educational systems, openness to innovation and the implementation of the experience of successful states. Despite the fact that Ukrainian challenges depend on existentiality, these challenges are also burdened by war. However, the Ukrainian education system has a margin of safety, which is based on the formation of key competencies. These competencies correlate with most of the United Nations Global Goals for the period up to 2030. The global goals of humanity will also be achieved by future generations of Ukrainians. A list of challenges for world education systems and their consequences is given. Effective ways to overcome the crisis in domestic education and prevent potential crises in the future are predicted. Prospective trends in the development of Ukrainian education in the global context have been determined. The purpose of the research is to outline the qualities and skills necessary to face the challenges based on the modeled Man of the future; to substantiate effective technologies for the formation of these qualities and skills, as well as to predict prospects for their improvement. The main results of the study are: identification and analysis of serious challenges in the field of education that prevent the achievement of the Global Goals of humanity, clarification of their causes and consequences; definition and characterization of the tools that will make it possible to overcome these challenges and ensure the stability and progress of the educational system of Ukraine; highlighting exemplary educational practices relevant for Ukraine; actualization of the model of Man of the future, a Man who is able to face challenges; determination of the qualities and skills necessary for such a person to achieve success in the 21st century; definition and substantiation of optimal pedagogical technologies for effective formation of relevant qualities and skills; forecasting ways of modernization and development of education. The conclusions summarize essential educational challenges; trends in education development that will enable overcoming these challenges are analyzed; innovative resources of pedagogical technologies for the formation of Ukrainian pupils’ knowledge and skills to face modern challenges are revealed.
