Abstract

The review publication “European Research Area: Achievements and Prospects” is one of the results of the project “European Research Area as a Guideline for the Development of Pedagogical Science in Ukraine: Information Hub of the Institute of Pedagogy of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine”, which was implemented in December 2022 - November 2023. The project was one of ten winners of the Ukrainian Educational Research Association under the auspices of the European Educational Research Association. In the publication, the project team – the researchers of the Institute of Pedagogy of the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine – presents the phenomenon of the European Research Area in the unity of origins, achievements, challenges, innovations and prospects for Ukraine. The publication is enriched with information on such important documents as the European Charter for Researchers, the Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers, and the European Competence Framework for Researchers. For researchers, policy makers, and the general pedagogical community.
