Abstract

The calendar and thematic planning of Literature (Ukrainian and foreign) lessons for the 8th grade (pilot project) is presented. The planning was developed in accordance with the curriculum on Ukrainian literature (the author's team T. O. Yatsenko). The optimal number of hours for textual study, extracurricular reading, familiarization with the literature of the native region and literary novelties has been determined, study hours are provided for the development of speech, expressive reading, generalization and systematization of what has been learned. The concept of the theory of literature, the understanding of which is provided in the process of analyzing artistic works, is indicated. Works of various types of art are recommended for holistic understanding of educational topics. Suggested works of art for extracurricular reading.
