Abstract
The article defines the leading signs of entrepreneurship in the field of graphic design (quantitative, qualitative, institutional, socio-economic, socio-psychological), which are determined by the national characteristics of a certain country. It is emphasized that every representative of the design profession has dominant business qualities. According to the author, success is directly related to two factors: the level of personal readiness for professional activity and the level of entrepreneurial development competence. Therefore, entrepreneurial training, development of entrepreneurial competence is of key importance in preparing graphic designers for successful professional activity. The essence of the entrepreneurial competence of future graphic designers is considered as an integrative personal and professional quality, which is related to the socio-economic, psychological and activity characteristics of the phenomenon and is specified by value-worldview orientations, methods activities, models of behavior and a set of professionally significant qualities that are holistic reflect a person's readiness for entrepreneurial activity in the process of implementation professional tasks.
