Abstract

In the modern world, artificial intelligence penetrates into various aspects of life, turning them into "intellectualized" spheres, becoming an integral part of everyday life. AI is a branch of computer science, the goal of which is to create intelligent machines capable of performing tasks that are traditionally considered the prerogative of human intelligence. The presented material represents a section of ideas about the possibilities, as well as warnings about the threats of AI, which were announced by the leading minds of mankind of the 21st century. The experience of the perception of foreign and Ukrainian students of AI technologies was analyzed. Features of the use of artificial intelligence based on CHAT-GPT in the educational process and the need to create educational programs that are not only exciting and relevant, but also adapted to the age and psychological characteristics of the students of education have been established. The ability of young people to critically evaluate information, draw reasonable conclusions and make decisions for their successful adaptation and future professional development has been updated. A number of recommendations have been formulated for teachers and psychologists regarding the formation of critical thinking skills among young people in the era of rapid development of technologies with artificial intelligence and compliance with academic integrity.
