Abstract
In the context of the research "Information and Analytical Support of Education and Pedagogy: Domestic and Foreign Experience" (2023-2025), the Department of Scientific Information and Analytical Support of Education of the V. Sukhomlynskyi State Scientific and Educational Library of Ukraine analysed the scientific achievements of Ukrainian scientists on the use of artificial intelligence in the educational sector. The attention is focused on the measures aimed at the development of artificial intelligence in Ukraine, in particular, in the field of education. The author focuses on the legislative framework that regulates the main provisions for the implementation of plans for the introduction of artificial intelligence in education. The state of research on such issues as the advantages and disadvantages of using artificial intelligence, the development of AI competence of educators, the principles of academic integrity in the application of artificial intelligence in education and research, and the introduction of artificial intelligence tools in the educational process is analysed. The article focuses on the current results of the analysis of the source base, which indicate that many scientists and researchers-practitioners are currently accumulating interesting developments in their scientific work on the achievements and challenges of introducing artificial intelligence in education, various aspects of the use of artificial intelligence in the educational process, including learning analytics and personalised learning. An analytical review of these scientific works and an analysis of the feasibility of using artificial intelligence technologies in education are carried out. Certain possible potential advantages and disadvantages of applying artificial intelligence in educational practice are highlighted, and it is stated that in the digital age, artificial intelligence is one of the relevant factors in the development of innovations in the fields and sectors of education, in particular in the system of information and analytical support for the digital transformation of education and pedagogy. It is noted that the problem of applying artificial intelligence technology in the system of information and analytical support for education, pedagogy and psychology is an innovative area that is actively being researched and developed in the scientific community. It is emphasized that the study of the possibilities of using artificial intelligence tools both in the educational environment and in the research space of information and analytical support for the digital transformation of education and pedagogy is a relevant and timely aspect of the development of the educational and scientific space.
