Difficulties faced by teachers and students when implementing project activities are singled out. Specific examples of successful projects that contributed to the development of gifted students in the scientific field are given. The conclusions and recommendations of the article can be useful for teachers and researchers who are interested in optimal methods of supporting gifted students in their scientific development.
