Abstract

The article outlines the activities and achievements of the Centre for Modern Professions and Learning Technologies of the Institute of Vocational Education of NAES of Ukraine between 2023 and 2024. These efforts include: a) providing scientific, methodical and advisory support to create new professions, develop professional standards and implement up-to-date professional qualifications for meeting the population’s needs for education and decent employment in current market conditions; b) enhancing the regulatory framework to reform and develop the system of vocational and pre-tertiary education, as well as the national qualifications system; c) fostering partnerships with stakeholders investing in human capital development, including government bodies, enterprises, private companies, research institutions, vocational and pre-tertiary education institutions, public organizations, trade unions; d)studying the foreign experience of developing labour resources and implementing best practices in Ukraine; e) developing, validating and implementing educational programme documentation to ensure quality professional training for youth and adults.
