Abstract

The model program is focused on the value benchmarks defined in the State Standard of Basic Secondary Education, promotes and implements them. First of all, they are: the uniqueness and talent of each individual; culture, history and language of the Ukrainian people; human dignity, childhood and adolescence, the joy of knowledge, the rights and freedom of each individual, a healthy lifestyle, safety in the educational environment, moral virtues (kindness, honesty, courage, mercy, justice), rights and freedoms, love for the native land, its ecology, active citizenship, patriotism, etc. The educational document is aimed at fulfilling the tasks declared in the Law of Ukraine "On Education", the State Standard of Basic Secondary Education, the realization of the competence potential of the linguistic and literary field, ensures systematicity in the formation of subject and key competences, and is also aimed at training a competent speaker with a well-developed linguistic sense and taste; education of a national-speaking personality with inherent feelings of dignity and patriotism, language stability, a valuable attitude to the language and the experience of using it. For students of grades 5-6 of general secondary education institutions.
