Abstract
The article presents the system of scientific and methodological support provided by the Institute of Vocational Education of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine for experimental work in vocational (vocational-technical) and professional pre-higher education institutions in 2019-2024. The system is focused on responding to the urgent needs of martial law, post-war recovery and European integration of Ukraine, strengthening national defence and security, and promoting educational reforms. It is implemented in the following areas: regulatory and methodological, organisational and methodological, subject and methodological, information and methodological. Regulatory and methodological support for experimental work in vocational (vocational and technical) and professional pre-higher education institutions is aimed at ensuring that experiment participants meet the requirements of current educational legislation. The content of the organisational and methodological support is substantiated in accordance with the bylaws and regulations. These documents define the subjects and objects of experimental work, plan, design, implement and monitor its effectiveness. Information and methodological support of the experimental work is provided by its subjects. These are researchers from 6 research laboratories, 4 research centres and the scientific and organisational department, as well as members of creative groups of educational institutions. The support also includes the implementation of a system of activities. In particular, conducting organisational and scientific-practical classes with representatives of creative groups; ensuring online communication between managers and performers, scientific institutions and experimental bases; using open access software for conducting online surveys, questionnaires, tests; ensuring free access of educators to electronic publications, video archive and materials of mass events of the Institute; administering web resources “Educator-innovator” and “Partner Space 015” for sharing experience and results of experimental work; popularisation of results through periodicals and continuing publications of the Institute, etc. The authors focus on the subject-matter and methodological support of the experiments, which involves identifying and creating the organisational and pedagogical conditions necessary to substantiate the relevance of the problems, goals and objectives of the experiments to the actual needs of wartime and the tasks of post-war recovery of Ukraine. The article summarises the results of 50 experiments at various levels aimed at promoting the strengthening of Ukraine's economic independence, its environmental, energy and information security, and further sustainable development of Ukrainian society. It also highlights the multi-level system of quality control over the experimental work, implementation and popularisation of the results obtained at the scientific institution.
