Abstract
The publication analyzes the use of gaming technologies in the course of studying cybersecurity in higher education institutions. It is concluded that the introduction of interactive and gaming technologies in education opens up new opportunities for the development of the necessary skills and abilities of students. These teaching methods activate the participants of the educational process, making them co-participants in learning. They contribute to the development of analytical thinking, communication skills, and motivation to learn. The methodologically sound use of game elements can improve the quality of learning, preparing students for the challenges of real professional life. Interactive and game-based methods can be effective in teaching the basics of cybersecurity. The use of game elements in education is an important step in preparing future professionals for complex tasks and challenges in their field.
