Abstract
The purpose of the article is to consider methodological approaches to the study of informatics in grades 7-9 of general secondary education institutions. Today, the methodical system of teaching informatics at school is dynamically changing, striving to ensure the maximum achievement by students of personal, subject and meta-subject educational results of the new concept of the State Standard of basic and comprehensive general secondary education. Therefore, the teaching of informatics is of great importance for the realization of the potential of general secondary education and changes in the conditions of the fundamentalization of the content of education, which, in turn, affects the methodical system of teaching informatics. The article discusses the purpose of the informatics course, which is achieved by solving tasks related to the implementation of the mandatory learning outcomes of the informatics educational field, as well as the tasks of teaching informatics in grades 7-9 of general secondary education institutions. It is indicated that the main task in the study of informatics is the study of general patterns of functioning, creation and application of information systems, mainly automated ones. The article considers priority goals that should be paid attention to from a methodological point of view when teaching a computer science course in grades 7-9. A summary of recommendations for planning and organizing the educational process of informatics in grades 7-9 of general secondary education institutions is presented. Some possible combinations of modules that can be used to support learning according to individual profiles are indicated. It has been proven that an important methodical approach to studying the computer science course is a competence-oriented approach. The educational process of informatics should be organized in such a way as to make maximum use of the opportunities for generalization and systematization of knowledge, identification and elimination of possible gaps and shortcomings, to complete the formation of skills on which subject and key competencies are based.
