Abstract

A special role in constructing future of the humankind belongs to higher education, as it is the mission of contemporary universities that lies not only in providing humans with knowledge and skills required to live in the situation of qualitative supercomplexity, but in shaping the knowledge society as well. From the perspective of institutional transformation of higher education, the development vectors are of re-institutionalization, deformalization and decentralization.
