Abstract

Adaptability, consciousness and resilience are considered as a metacontext in the process of reading, which is an important skill of the 21st century. Reading as a learning method affects the emotional adaptability, consciousness and stability of the student's personality, and is consistent with the development of emotional intelligence. Properly organized reading forms and develops intelligence, creative and critical thinking, value orientations, the ability to analyze and synthesize, the ability to work with texts independently, find the necessary information, draw conclusions, etc.
