Abstract
Emphasis is placed on synectic methods in the process of school pupils mastering subject knowledge and forming key competencies. Synectics has the potential to ensure the integration of knowledge, creating relationships between different subjects. This contributes to a deeper and more complete understanding of the educational material and the development of global thinking. The main principles of the synectic approach in education include not only creativity, but also the complex use of various approaches and methods for students' understanding and assimilation of educational material. This approach can be used in different ways: in the process of learning native and foreign languages, in art, in scientific research.
