Abstract
Intellectual development of the individual is based on factual knowledge. Reproduction, renewal and enrichment of the intellectual potential of Ukraine is highly prioritized in the context of modern and future challenges. Dialogisation, axiologization, competentization of education as a system based on modern approaches and intellectually oriented methods forms the educational potential of a modern institution of general secondary education. Real leaders have the ability to manage changes and risks in the process of achieving a common goal even under difficult conditions, showing emotional intelligence and the ability to adapt to changes. Emotional intelligence and adaptability of leadership activity in the context of school practice give the manager confidence in his own beliefs, which are supported by a deep understanding of philosophical theories and concepts, knowledge of leading methods, approaches, psychological aspects that affect motivation, self-esteem and interaction in the team.
