Abstract
The article identifies the main features of scientific digital library. There outlines the main requirements to a software system for the development of scientific digital libraries. There are characteristics of actual software systems. There analyzes open software systems for the creation of digital libraries, which are offered freely available in the Internet and are distinguished by experts of UNESCO.There substantiated the choice of an open software system Eprints for creating scientific digital library and argued that the Eprints software system is a convenient way to maintain the functions of the scientific digital library and support of scientific research on the implementation problems of the analysis of psychological and pedagogical, methodological literature according to the problems of these researches
