Abstract
In the article, on the basis of theoretical analysis and generalization, the conceptual and terminological aspects of pedagogical biography as a subject of scientific research will be revealed. In the modern scientific and information space, in the conditions of the accumulation of biographical information, the development of theoretical and methodological foundations of biographical research regarding the peculiarities of the use of research tools, conceptual apparatus, scientific and publishing work in this direction, the study of issues of pedagogical biography is relevant. Pedagogical biography is an important scientific and methodological basis of scientific biographical research in the era of rapid accumulation of information. However, issues of conceptual apparatus development in pedagogical research, as well as in any other, acquire special importance for their methodological equipment. In this regard, there is a need to study, systematize and generalize various research approaches to the development of the conceptual apparatus in general and pedagogical biography in particular. It was found that in the conditions of the development of the theoretical and methodological foundations of biographical scientific research, it is relevant to study the issues of pedagogical biography as a field of scientific creativity, publishing and informational work, biographical research of the activities of teachers, educators, and public figures at a certain historical and pedagogical stage. The issue of terminological criteria regarding the definition of the concept of pedagogical biography, its theory, methodology, functions and terminological apparatus remain debatable among representatives of various sciences – historians, pedagogues, cultural scientists, etc. Today, among the main tasks of Ukrainian pedagogical biography as a component of national memory is the disclosure of the life-creating path of personalities for the sake of a holistic presentation of the process of development of humanistic pedagogy in Ukraine. In the context of the above, the prospects for further scientific research are to strengthen interdisciplinary studies of the sources of pedagogical biography as a special phenomenon of scientific discourse and an information resource for the creation of encyclopedic publications.
