Abstract
The article presents the results of the implementation of the project “Scientific and methodological support for the creation of an open access electronic journal for the publication of the results of the scientific activity of students of the Small Academy of Sciences of Ukraine” for the implementation of the program of joint activities of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine for 2021–2023. The expediency of preparing young researchers for publishing activities in professional publications is substantiated. A generalized concise analysis of the latest scientific research devoted to publishing activities, theoretical and practical aspects of using open electronic journal systems is given. The model of the development of the publishing activity of young researchers is presented, which consists of the following components: motivational-targeted, organizational-procedural, substantive and operational-technical, diagnostic and results. The content of the components of the specified model is described. The advantages of using the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform, on which the electronic publication is deployed, have been clarified. The chosen publication model of the open journal is substantiated and its uniqueness compared to traditional scientific electronic publications, which is based on the use of the gamification principle, is determined. The problem of preparing young researchers for publishing activities and activities of reviewers is singled out and its solution is presented through training on the separately created distance learning platform NEO LMS. The generalized structure of the created electronic training courses (ELC) and the content of their modules is presented. The advantages of using gamification tools on the NEO LMS platform are highlighted, which can qualitatively prepare young researchers for publishing activities, development of their scientific style of speech, formation of argumentation and interpretation skills. Debatable questions and questions for further scientific research are highlighted.
