Abstract
The paper defines the concept of “learning loss” as a decrease in the level of knowledge or skills of students due to gaps or interruptions in formal education. The author analyzes effective approaches to measuring learning losses with the help of technology in foreign countries, including: computer-adaptive testing, comparative assessment with technical support, standardized assessment, etc. It is noted that digital platforms are often used to measure the educational losses of students. It is concluded that by using modern digital assessment tools, teachers have the opportunity to adapt traditional assessment, making it effective for each student.
