Abstract

The article analyzes an experimentally proven effective method that contributes to the formation of reading literacy of younger teenagers. Examples from the textbook of Ukrainian literature for the 5th grade illustrate the interrelationship of tasks based on the texts of artistic works. The need for integration of methods, techniques, and educational tasks for working with different types of texts, including artistic ones, is proved.
