Abstract
Methodical recommendations are dedicated to the search for new ways of increasing the effectiveness and efficiency of working with preschool children using sand animation. The multifunctionality of sand animation classes is described, which make it possible to simultaneously solve the tasks of diagnosis, correction and development, education and training, and can also be included in various forms of individual and group classes. The corrective effect of sand animation classes on the mental processes of older preschoolers was analyzed. It has been proven that sand animation is a tool that allows you to stimulate a child and develop his sensorimotor skills. Methodical recommendations were prepared based on the analysis of literary sources, materials of trainings and educational seminars, and the author's personal work experience as a practical psychologist of a preschool education institution and head of the "Sand Animation" group in 2013–2023. Methodological recommendations are designed for practical psychologists working in the field of preschool education, teachers, leaders of group work, students of advanced training courses in the field of education.
