Abstract

The concept of the program of the integrated course of literature (Ukrainian and Foreign) for the 5th-6th grades of NUS is presented. The content and structure of the textbooks «Ukrainian and Foreign literature» for the 5-th and 6-th grades, developed on the basis of reader-centric and text-centric principles, are disclosed. Emphasis is placed on the competence potential of textbooks. Curriculum, calendar and thematic planning for the study of an integrated course of literature (Ukrainian and Foreign) in 5-6 grades are characterized. Notebooks of formative assessment of educational achievements of 5th-6th grade students are presented.
