Abstract

The problem of overcoming educational losses and educational gaps in the results of learning Ukrainian literature has been updated, which must be implemented taking into account various aspects arising from the specificity of literature as an art that reflects the emotions and feelings of people, as well as the formation of subject and key competencies, the achievement of expected learning results. The results of Ukrainian and international studies of reading literacy and the results of studying literature are analyzed. It has been proven that an express course can be a possible way to compensate for educational losses and educational gaps in the process of learning Ukrainian literature.
