Abstract

The article considers the game as a means of forming the social competence of an older preschooler. The article proves that the higher the level of development of social competence, the easier the process of socialization, the more successfully interpersonal interaction is carried out. And it is in the game that a child of older preschool age acquires the basic skills of social competence necessary for establishing contact and developing interaction with the surrounding world, which leads to successful readiness for life.
