Abstract

The article draws attention to the formation of game competence in children of older preschool age, which becomes an important component of adequate preparation of a preschool child for a new type of activity - learning. The article presents the levels of development of game competence of an older preschooler. The article describes 5 levels of development of game competence of a child of older preschool age.
